TECH4HACK-CGCU / TERMS

Terms of Use

Clear expectations for using the Tech4Hack-CGCU website.

Who this website is for

This website is maintained for the Tech4Hack club community at CGC University Mohali. It supports membership applications, club information and event registration. A club membership or profile is not a university academic account, official academic credential or guarantee of access to university facilities.

Your information

Provide your own accurate name, membership email, university GR number, course and semester. Do not impersonate another person or submit someone else’s personal information without permission. GR numbers are reviewed by the club; this website does not independently verify university records.

Membership and accounts

Membership requires club approval. Approval creates a private member profile. Access depends on retaining approved membership and control of your membership email. Sign-in links are personal, expire after 10 minutes, work once and must be opened in the browser that requested them. Do not share sign-in links or use a shared device without signing out.

Events

Event availability, eligibility, venue, capacity and deadlines are set by the organizers. Registration does not guarantee admission if an event has additional published eligibility requirements. Review the event details and registration policy before confirming. External registration sites operate under their own terms and may require separate details.

Respectful use

Follow the Community Guidelines. Do not harass others, misuse personal information, upload material without permission, disrupt the service or attempt to access accounts or data you are not authorized to use.

Content and changes

The club manages its team, events and gallery. Details can change; check published event information for updates and contact organizers when uncertain. The club may correct content or restrict access when needed to administer membership or respond to misuse.

Privacy and support

The Privacy Notice explains data collection and storage. For corrections, deletion requests or account support, contact tech4hackcgcuniversitymohali@gmail.com. Event registration records the policy version accepted when you confirm.

Current service

This website currently does not process payments. These terms describe the current club website and should be reviewed by the club when its operations change. Policy version: 2026-11-01.
